This website aims to tell you how2get2 wherever you need to go if you're aged 16 -19 and in further education.
It'll also help you choose the best ticket to buy - so saving you time and money.
But you can use this site for much more than just getting to school and college - it'll be useful for when you're meeting your mates, or travelling to your part-time job.
The website is produced by Nexus in partnership with the five Local Authorities in Tyne and Wear.

Age Concern Community Shopper
Age Concern Sunderland are please to announce that funding for a city wide Community Shopper Bus has been secured from the Sunderland Partnership Neighbourhood Renewal Fund.
Working in partnership with Compass Community Transport and Nexus the aim is to help older people with their shopping with transport to and from home.
The service covers all of Sunderland including Washington and the Coalfields area and operates from Monday - Friday each week. For more details contact Age Concern on 0191 5141131
Easington Lane Community Access Point Transport
ELCAP is a local charitable organisation ran by local people for local people. They received funding to purchase a 15 seater mini bus complete with steps, ramps and a wheelchair lift and a 17 seater mini bus.
The scheme is available to community groups and those wishing to access training in the Urban II area.

Tyne and Wear Travel Plan
Nexus have worked in partnership with the five Tyne and Wear authorities and have developed an online travel planning tool which allows organisations to develop their Travel Plan in an easy step-by-step question and answer format which produces a travel planning document.

Mides Training for BME Group Members
TSETT (Tackling Social Exclusion Through Transport) are offering the opportunity to BME groups throughout the Sunderland, Washington and Coalfields areas for some of their members to become MiDAS trained Minibus drivers. The courses, which are funded, are available to men and women over the age of 25 who have held a UK driving licence prior to January1997 or have more recently held a UK driving licence for more than 2 years.
- Be aged 25 or over (maximum age limit 70) 2
- Have held a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years (category A on old licences, B on new ones)
- Have had regular driving experience since passing your test.
- Be in good medical health and not taking medication, which may affect your ability to drive
- If you passed your test after January 1st 1997 you can still drive as above with the following exceptions:
- You cannot be a paid driver
- You cannot tow a trailer of any size
- You can only drive up to 3.5 tonnes max. Weight (4.25 if an accessible bus)
- You can only drive a bus in this country
- Unless you have a PCV entitlement
